What does a Boston darkwave record label and a kids' music concert have in common?

ARLINGTON, MA - The Regent Theatre will be a bustle of activity during afternoon matinee hours next Saturday and Sunday (the 24th and 25th of January). The Paul Green School of Rock Music's young virtuosos will tackle the daunting task of captivating an all-ages audience with "A Tribute To The Who" starting at 1:00 PM both days.

With a spirit of true community, John DeGregorio, guitarist and programmer from the Watertown-based dark alternative band Amber Spyglass ( and founding member of Boston's newest indie label, Decorative Records, has signed on as the sound engineer for this production. John has run sound for many local concerts in the Greater Boston area, and is excited for the opportunity to work with School of Rock.

Decorative Records representatives will be on premise both days at the Regent, promoting the release of the "Sky So Grey" compilation CD, featuring local artists such as Twelfth of Never, The Milling Gowns, Lucretia's Daggers, Aepril Schaile and the Judgement, and many others. The Paul Green School of Rock is the nation's premiere performance-based music school for young people ages 6-18. The first school was founded in 1998 in Philadelphia, PA, and was the inspiration for the movie of the same name featuring comedian Jack Black. The Boston branch opened in May of 2007 in Watertown and performs approximately 10-12 shows per year in local live music venues.

Tickets for "A Tribute to The Who" can be purchased in advance for $10 by calling 617-923-3434 or at the door for $13 day-of-show. The Regent Theatre is located at 7 Medford Street in Arlington, MA.
